Too Much Rice!

"It was another week of contacting and trying to find more people to teach. We had two who showed up to church this past Sunday. One was a lady who I had met. She is about 40 years old and has accepted to be baptized on the 7th of next month. She has to work out things with work, so she can keep the Sabbath day. The other girl Elder Bassett found. She is 17 years old and is Buddist, but her dad is Christian and she wants to change to Christian. We gave her a baptism date that is two weeks out because she is so young. She is sad that she has to wait, so we will teach her as much as we can and then ask for special permission to baptize her sooner. We also have a family of one of our RCs who will be ready to be baptized this coming Sunday. However, they are really shy and I have to work really hard to take special care of them. They know me and feel comfortable around me, but I have to make sure that they are really getting answers because they don't speak too much. I know that they are really golden and Brother Lek is very happy. He is so much stronger in the church and it is awesome!"

"It is nice to know that the RCs trust me. I have been here for most of their baptisms and have taught them after baptism lessons. Elder Bassett pointed out to me one day how all the RCs seem to listen to me when I tell them something and come to me for advice. He said that they feel comforted around me. It will be really sad to have to leave all of them. I really love the RCs here. They are so fun to talk to and I like teaching them. We joke a lot too. One day for some reason, the topic of marriage and kids came up. I think we were teaching about sealings. The RCs told me that they think that I can't get a girlfriend! I said WHAT?? I totally can!! They said nope! haha  Looks like I'll just have to live with Mom and Dad the rest of my life and wait for the next life. haha"

"We didn't have a baptism this week. Brother Smith disappeared. We don't know where he went and this is the second time that this has happened with our investigators. Hopefully we'll be able to find him again this week. Not much else happened to tell you about. I'm kind of getting bored of food a little. I want steak and burgers! I'm super tired of rice. We eat way too much rice. I love you all!"
