"This week my letter will be short because I don't have much time. We are going to go to the big mountain. It is called the Barrio and I'm going to get to ride an elephant! I'm super excited!"
"Of course, I'm wearing green today and green jello doesn't sound too good right now actually. I do want some rolls though. Thai people don't really bake anything. I am so excited for Derek's call to Columbia and can't wait to hear about Brian's. You have to tell me as soon as possible. It looks like Que married into his first (BYU Lacrosse) fan section. haha He is now a part of the Smith family. I hope he knows what he has gotten himself into. I met a returned missionary recently. I don't know how to spell her name, but she is Japanese and was Mark Hanni's Pii when he was here. That is cool that Mark and Katherine are both getting married. I am really excited for Aunt Stephanie's baptism and make sure to send me some pictures."
"This week we had a big miracle... A BAPTISM! His name is Brother Pone. He was so happy to be baptized and had wanted to be baptized for a long time. I am standing next to him in the picture. He wasn't officially married to his wife and she wasn't too accepting of the gospel. I started working with her a little and asked her to pray and she said she did everyday. Then we were invited to their house to cast away spirits. She felt that there were spirits in her home and prayed that if they were bad to take them out and if they were good to let her know. We then dedicated her house. A couple days later, we get a call telling us that they were married! What?!! Are you serious?!! They were married on Saturday and then Pone was baptized on Sunday. She still wants to learn more. She wants to think about it, but I can tell that she is starting to take it serious and that she will be baptized in no time. Such a great miracle and answer to our prayers. We almost had another baptism, but she disappeared a day before her interview. Hopefully, we will find her again."
"I'm running out of time and need to go. Talk to you later and I miss you all much!"
